In May of last year, I had the absolute pleasure of creating the perfect bridal beauty look for my stunning bride, Ariadna, on her wedding day. Every detail of her luxury wedding exuded sophistication and romance, making it a perfect balance for an unforgettable occasion. It was an honour to be part of such a special milestone, crafting a look that complemented her vision of timeless elegance.

How did you both meet?
Leo and I met while we were both completing a Masters of Architecture in London. We were randomly assigned as teammates on the first week and have been together ever since, both personally and professionally, as we also run our own architecture studio in London.
What was your inspiration for your wedding day?
The inspiration for the wedding was elegant and minimalist but also playful and infused with our design and architectural background.
How was your experience with us?
The experience with the IB team was fantastic from beginning to end. The whole team is very professional and organised which is a bride’s dream during this stressful time. On top of that they are very friendly and kind which puts all nerves at ease. The best part of the experience is that there are multiple consultations to discuss timeline, inspiration, styles, etc. so there is no doubt that the outcome will be exactly as envisioned.
Did you DIY anything for your elegant wedding?
I’m from Mexico, so we had hand-made ceramic tequila bottles and shot glasses as part of the table decorations. They were all made by Mexican artisans and shipped to London for the wedding.
What did you do to prepare for your special day?
A few weeks before the big day I treated myself to a scalp mask and light trim with Izabella. It was the best reset for my hair and myself.
What was your inspiration for your hair?
The inspiration for the hair was something elegant but with a twist. Izabella immediately understood what I was after during the trial – it all came together so beautifully with my dress.
What was a memorable moment for you?
One of the most memorable moments was the short veil which was hand-made by my mother. I had not tried it on before the big day but it worked out perfectly!
The funniest moment you had on your wedding day?
A funny moment was connected to the veil itself. I didn’t think I had to uncover my fave during the religious ceremony and the veil got tangled up with my earrings and ended up bunching into a sort of headband 😅. I only realised how it looked once I got the final photos – I’m surprised, everyone thought it was intentional!
